Bugs and Errors
During gameplay, you may find problems occuring with the game. Some of these problems are cause by the fact that you are using a newer computer than the game was designed for. That is probably what is happening if: the game takes a very long time to load, and or:the game pauses for a while after battles. If that happens, don't worry. The game will still run fine on your computer, except for those two problems. Once it does load, it will only pause after the first battle you do, and after that, it will run just the same as on other computers, if not better. One important thing you need to do if you have a vista computer is set it to run on XP mode whenever you play this game.
The next thing discussed in this section is bugs and errors. There are two main problems that occur in the game. The first is that a cat will start walking, and then hit a tree or another object, and you will find that you cannot move, or, you will move into a new area, only to find that you are standing on a rock or plant and can't move (referred to in the updates section as a "can't move", or CM glitch). If this happens, then you will just need to wait for the next version of the game to be released, where the bug will hopefully have been fixed. The other kind of problem is when a cat continues to say the same thing. For instance, you may find that you talk to a cat, and it begins saying or doing something that it has already done before (referred to as an event mix, or EM glitch in the updates section). When this happens, it is best to first see what happens. If the cat really does bring you into an event or battle that you already won or progressed through, then it is best to stay away from the cat, or shut down the game and try again.
Note:If the cat says something from far back in the story, you can still play through the game at your own part, just be sure not to talk to the cat to progress through the story events that you already finished.
The final reason that you're experiencing a problem during gameplay is that your computer might not be suited to run the software. If so, then you should go to the RPG Maker XP website (the link is shown on the Citation and Links page) and check the system requirements, to make sure that your computer meets all of them.
Note:There are some more advanced errors that are more complicated to fix. If one occurs, don't panic! But to get any help on fixing it, you must leave a comment on glitch report! No info required other than name, which can be made up or fake!!!
Note:If you've begun playing, and found a problem in your downloaded game and would like it fixed, PLEASE PUT A COMMENT IN THE "Glitch Report!" SECTION!!! BE SURE TO FULLY DESCRIBE THE PROBLEM.
