Where is the "Contest Area"???
I can't find it!
sorry this is kind late, but I hope I can help!
if you have the thunderclan map or know the territory well it's all the way on the left in the top corner. all the way to the left is Shadowclan territory, but if you go a tiny bit to the right it's the bramble bush, and when you go in that's where it's at.
Actually, I found the contest area in the WindClan border area. You just go inside the map area for the WindClan border and they'll be directly to your left.
Hey guys I want you to know that I am new
Soooo, what is the activation code ;-; i cant find it!!!!
what activation code? I don't believe you need an activation code for this game at all, unless your referring to the first game (this is the 3rd) but if you are referring to the first game it says in the downloads
I've finished the game, and I was wondering if there was end content? Like the extra quest? because I've talked to tons of characters, and looked around everywhere and can't find any. In the other games there was end content so I was just curious, but if there isn't any now, I hope there will be in future updates. I played it when it first came out and I enjoy these games a lot!
What do I do after fighting the Shadowclan patrol and talking to the cat in camp(I forgot his name)? Where do I go for the walk?
I believe you go to the Moonpool. Sorry if i'm wrong!
What do you need to do after you leave the tunnels for the very first time. Whenever I go in there at night, after I come out, it turns to morning and a little message pops up saying I can redo nighttime-only events by staying up till night or something like that.
Well you have to find Heatherpaw first before you leave. (she's all the way to the right, then you go up the yellow path) after you talk to her I think you go to sleep.
Alright, I'll try that
Where is the gathering located in power of three
You have to go just oustide the camp and above you Firestar (One time even Brumbleclaw) will ask you if you want to go to the gathering w/ him.
Is this the place for suggestions? If it is, I'd suggest making so that the mice evade your attacks less often so that the fights with them are less tedious.
What do you do after the burly rouge helps you push the log. I can't cross the river.
Hello i just want to thank the creator of these games for making them. When i read these books i never thought there would be a game about it, but thats when you went and made a game about it. I was so happy and immediately downloaded and started playing. I am currently stuck on the second game and on the first game i am too weak to kill the even first bloodclan pack. I have loved these games since they first came out. On the second game i am stuck looking for the windclan camp, i've been going in circles for a long time, again thank you so much for these games, they lighten the mood when i'm sad.
I've run into a bit of trouble in the game. I saved right before fighting Breezepaw and two WindClan warriors, and I'm having a really hard time fighting them. I don't know of any way to train up since Breezepaw is blocking off the only way to get into the territory maze. Is there any way to train in some place, or does anyone have tips for fighting Breezepaw? (Knowing me, I've probably overlooked something).
Tips for fighting Breezepaw: You should try to get rid of his two friends before going after Breezepaw.
Training: You know when you escaped camp to find the foxes at the very beginning of the book? Go there are there should be a fox standing where you had to fight at the beginning of the book. Instead of fighting one fox cub, though, you will fight three. It is actually pretty easy as long as you have mental steal, lion anger, and code strike.
Oh, thanks! I finally managed to beat him, but now I've progressed a lot more in the game and Nightcloud's giving me some trouble. I can take on Tornear without a problem, but when I get to Nightcloud, she constantly stuns my party. I tried using one cat as an item-user and had the others attack, but it didn't seem to help very much. Any suggestions?
Hey, I'm creating a game for my book and find myself not being able to code in a certain action which is shown in your RPG.
When you are hunting in the bushes and such, giving multiple outcomes randomly. Can you help me with the coding for that please?
Thankyou, I await your reply! I really need this coding to move further on in the creation of my game =)
I use RPG Maker a lot and think I can help you. Random outcomes are easy, so don't worry. I don't know what version of RPG Maker you have, though, so I'll try my best to explain. Basically, you need to set a variable, lets say huntResult, to a random value. You should find 'random' in the options when setting a variable value. Then input your range. (If you want the chances to be even, just set the range to 0 through the number of outputs. Otherwise, set it to 0 through a higher number so the chances of getting the wrong number are higher.) Finally, use a conditional branch to check if the value of a variable is at a certain value to continue.
If this was confusing, keep reading. Otherwise, good luck with your game!
Lets say you want to recreate the hunting flower in po3, but you want the chances of getting a rabbit to be 1/5, the chances of getting a mouse battle to be 2/5, and the chances of failure to be 2/5. Set huntResult to a random number between 0 and 4 (because zero is an outcome, you want to subtract one from the higher end of the number). Then use conditional branches to check its value. If the number is 0, it's a rabbit. It it's not zero, check if it's equal to or greater than 3. If it is, it's a mouse battle. If it's not, you failed to catch anything.
I hope this helps!
I honestly haven't gotten that far due to me always leveling up to get the best move the three can get, so I am still in the third game training, and training, and training. Sorry that I can not answer your question. All I can say is if you saved before you started Tornear's fight, then you should go and train at the healing snowman or where you get Wintergreen and Tormentail in the Tribe's territory.
Well, thanks anyways. You've been really helpful so far. I know I've been asking tons of questions, but are there any moves you recommend? Thanks again!
Well, I definitely would suggest using Warrior Strike. I does a lot of damage and hits twice. But if you level up the main three to level 85, you get Fiery Fury. In the other two games, it went up to 65-75 thousand damage, but on this one it goes up to 4-6 thousand damage. It might not seem that strong anymore, but that is what got me through the battles.
were do you find the wintergreen
Help! I'm trying to play the Po3 game and I was able to download it but when I click on the file and it asks me what program I want to use to open it, none of the programs will open it! I have a PC and I'm not very good with computers. Please help!
DO NOT EVER DOWNLOAD WITH CHROME OR FIREFOX unless you know EXACTLY what your doing...
i had the same problem with minecraft once..
Thanks! I'll try downloading with Explorer or something and see if it works any better.
it took me 3 hours to cross that thunderpath covered in careless catnip-hiped monsters near the end of the game ... would it be possible to make that even slightly less difficult, i know its supposed to be a challenge but i nearly "Death Blow"-ed my pc!!!!
Ugh, my Norton won't even let me attempt to download the game now! :(
I was able to download the game under Norton 360.
using internet explorer, download the game,
if Norton tells you no, it thinks it's malicious, say continue or yes i'm sure or etc., then it will delete the file and say malicious software removed in the bottom corner, click that and tell it to restore
...and that SHOULD let you have the file
all that's left is to extract and enjoy
Thank you CinderLily! It worked!
Where is Heatherpaw when I'm supposed to meet her two nights after the Gathering?
try looking around the camp entrance
she may be in the corner, is EASILY missed
Where am I suppose to go after I head south of Windclan's territory to find Sol?
if i remember correctly,
your getting sol to explain the prophecy,
if so, head towards the shadowclan border and you should find him
however he then leaves you
No, trying to find Sun-Drown place. During the hunt for Sol who is being accused.
go to the south-eastern corner similar to going to the gathering except more to the left you should find an area previously blocked off now open to you...
are there any other cats on this trip other than your party?
(such as bramble claw?)
Right NOT Left ... typo
What level do i need to beat TigerStar (in lionblazes dream)
How do i beat tigerstar (in lionblazes dream)
I beat him at about level 60 when i got the strongest "prophecy" booster move
I used many poultices as well as a toxic brew
thx im only on level 41 i guess i have to train hard to beat him
How in StarClan's name did you get past the Eclipse battle without Claws Of Destruction??
that's how i was at first but i've found that the area with the snowman on the way to the mountains is a very effective training area...
fight til you drop, heal,& fight sumore!
also, I've herd* that at level 85, the main characters get firey fury, though it may only do about 5,000 dmg if it hits...
(*=dont know for myself, just read it sumwhere)
You're correct. Firey Fury only hits 4-6 thousand :P. Another good area to train is were you get the Wintergreen and Tormentel. Unlike the Magic Snowman area, it is guaranteed to get 6 (I think, haven't played for a month or so) cats to fight instead of 1-6 cats. The only problem is it uses up your catmint a bit because it doesn't give you enough to buy another right after.
After i help sol escape the thunderclan camp what do i do after that?
i believe you go to the shadow clan border and he leaves you for blackstar
What level do i have to be to beat AshFur?
the first ashfur fight: i suggest about 30-40
the second ashfur fight: i suggest 60 or up
lol I beat ashfur at a level lower than 20
Shadowclan territory, but if you go a tiny bit to the right it's the bramble bush, and when you go in that's where it's at.
i love your guys's games will you make more since more series are coming out?
where is the Sun Drown Place? Like, I'm at the point where Brambleclaw is in front of camp telling me what to do but his instructions are so VAGUE... ;-;
I can't give you a lot of info as I haven't played the game for a while, but you go to WindClan territory. Instead of heading straight down towards the Island and towards tribe territory, you keep going left until you can't anymore. Then go down while you keep moving left where you can. There should be a spot that was previously blocked by a cat that isn't blocked anymore.
Right, I mean. Not left
I know this is sudden, and no rush is needed, but is there an Omen of the Stars game being developed? Or is POT the final game?
Admin has not told us anything yet. IF he does decide to or asks us if we want one for that series, I'm sure he still wouldn't want to work on it for a LONG time so he can keep updating of Po3 game and making it better.
@TheAdmin Is there a way to contact you personally? I'm interested in helping to clean up some of the graphics :).
After you become an apprentice, and you switch to Hollyleaf, what are you suppose to do now? I've already slept at least 3 times, and am currently leveling up (thinking that will help) Is there anything I'm missing?
After your apprentice ceremony, you should get a move called Mind Walk. You use it and you will enter the mind of Brambleclaw. After that, I believe you walk out of camp and talk to Ashfur.
Oh, wow. I thought the Power of Three game wasn't ever coming, I stopped checking forever ago. Wonder if anyone from 2010 is here :V
Anyways, hello! I used to be Sunleaf!
What are you supposed to do after the apprentice ceremony?
Use the Mind Walk move that Jaypaw just got (It is the only time you'll ever use Mind Walk) and then go out of camp and talk to Ashfur.
What then? I have been an apprentice FOREVER and I am not sure how to become a warrior. I have talked to Ashfur and did what he told me to. Do I have to get to a certain level?
Lionpaw and Hollypaw left to the special gathering, and Jaypaw was left behind. What am I supposed to do now?
Nvm I figured it out. Sorry for asking so many questions, I keep getting stuck, but what doI do after sharing a dream with Cinderpaw?
HELP! How do I change the name? I can't change Lionblaze's
It turned out as LionblazeA!
The X key
I noticed that the previous games mentioned that you're only supposed to add the prefix, but in the power of three one they don't mention it in game at all. Does the prefix only names apply to power of three?
Also what do you do after you talk to ashfur? If he said what to do then I forgot it please help me
What part of the game are you at?
Actually I already passed that part, but now i'm stuck on the part where jayfeather is supposed to go to the lake and drown but I don't know where the lake is
I have linux. how i open po3?
I'm such a mouse-brain I can't find the dirtplace please will someone help me?
I'm having the same issue!
I found a place by the warriors den but nothing happens when I go in and look around I'm so confused!?!?
Never mind I figured it out
what did you do, please tell me, I can't figure it out!
I cannot for the life of me figure out where dirtplace is, and I know its probably really obvious and I'm just being stupid, but please help me!
okay nvm, I think I found it, if it's the 'secret' place above the warriors den, if so then now I can't figure out how to sneak out from there T~T
I have no clue what to do.... someone please help me!
okay I figured it out, lol, had to use youtube though :T
Hello! I've played the Power Of Three game multiple times. It's very intertaining for when I have no Enternet (See what I did there? xD). But I was just wondering, when will subquests be added? I realize that this is a fairly new-ish game, but I've found a lot of places (Mainly in the mountains) that would be ideal for future subquests. For instance, if you go to the maps east of the Tribe's cave, you'll find a lot of entrances with Tribe cats standing in front of them, saying 'you shouldn't be going this way right now'. Not to mention the valley with the waterfall under the intruders' camp. I just think it would be nice for post-story quests to be added, like in The New Prophecy and the original game. (I love the New Prophecy's quests a lot, especially A Plot Against StarClan and Speed Over Strength [mainly for the speed seed xD])
Anyway, I'd better get going before Graystar gets back from hunting. He doesn't want me on this site. (He doesn't even want me on this laptop....don't ask how I know what it is)
Uh, can someone help me? I just finished the first training session with ashfur and I dont know what to do next.
Hey!. A bit late but if you're still looking back for help with this, Try watching a playthrough (Usually they include how to get there, Etc) But not many people have played the PO3 , As old as it is. Though usually in the dialogue they tell you where to go next, But remember like back in the original game, If you don't know what to do, Check EVERYWHERE and talk to EVERY cat around.
If you've saved the game before talking to Ashfur or what ever NPC, Then just go to it and re-read the dialogue VERY carefully.
I'm still wondering about post-story events, for one, but I also wanted to be helpful rather than just saying "WILL YOU MAKE THIS".
Namely, I wanted to try and come up with some ideas for subquests.
Okay. First of all..you know how Scourge said he'd be back in A Plot Against StarClan? Perhaps you could build another story off of that. It's not like Scourge to make a promise he won't keep...
Or you could do something involving Mapleshade. I don't know what, I just say it because I like Mapleshade. Maybe she's tormenting Brambleclaw because he's a descendant of Oakstar, and he needs your help getting rid of her.
(It's not exactly unheard of--Brambleclaw is Oakstar's great-grandson, and we know how she treated Crookedstar, who was Appledusk's great-grandson.)
Maybe the Clan crystals from the last game can make an appearance, but with a different method of finding them. Maybe Firestar doesn't just give you the Thunder Crystal, and getting the Wind Crystal isn't as simple as following a guard. I don't know what you could use the crystals for, though. I guess that could be a subquest in and of itself: Find the crystals :P
But it wasn't like that in the last game, so yeah.
Perhaps you could bring back the two strange cats; the black-and-white one and the gray one, probably most memorable for their role in Cats In Need? We could finally learn their names.
I guess this wouldn't be a subquest, but you could also add in the training grounds. (The ones from the last game..again..that you unlocked with a subquest and had 20 minutes to complete?)
I don't know. I'm referencing TNP too much, some people probably wouldn't like subquests full of content from the last game.
Also, I'd be glad to help with things in any of the games. (Mainly finding typos, rewriting odd parts, and drawing battle sprites. I'm no good at actually making the game.)
Here are some secrets, or interesting things I found in the game.
-There's a secret switch in the World Map. Apparently it does nothing no matter what you enter in. Troubledspar7an found it.
-If you go to the Sun-Drown Place after finishing the game, follow a narrow path through the water, and select the last space on the path, it'll say "Water water all around but not a drop to drink..."
--Also, if you enter and leave Midnight's den, you'll have to redo the annoying water bit--even if you get out, it'll glitch your game so you can't save anywhere. Lesson learned the hard way: DO NOT ENTER MIDNIGHT'S DEN AFTER YOU FINISH THE GAME. Jeez, I was just looking around for secrets..I didn't deserve this..;-;
-More people probably know about this, but in the Tribe's cave, you can enter the cave-guard and prey-catchers' den. It's a big space with one cat and a bit of water. The cat will ask if you want to fight, but no matter what you say, nothing will happen.
-You can enter Sol's den before he's imprisoned there..again, you probably knew about this already.
I'll add more in a reply to this comment. I'm still trying to get past the water AND cross the Thunderpath successfully without saving--I'm hoping that if I get back to camp and sleep, it'll be fixed...what have I gotten myself into...
If you manage to get past the water part and cross the Thunderpath all in one go, you can save your game again when you get to the next map. It'll just be torture.
(Going to Jingo's twolegplace doesn't allow you to save either)
Continuing with the interesting stuff:
-If you try to enter ShadowClan's camp any time after you eavesdrop in Long Shadows, you'll just get stuck in there with three cats who don't say anything (ginger, dark red, and gray, if you're curious). There are other openings that seem like they should go somewhere, but they don't. Enter if you want, but DO NOT SAVE while you're inside the camp, because there's no way out.
-After you finish the game, the cubs in the abandoned fox den will be gone if you come back to it.
I swear, I fully explored every map that I could think of, from ShadowClan's camp to the Sun-Drown Place. I tried to go through every single space that looked like an entrance, talked to every cat I could, tried talking to enemy warriors with Disguise on, even used Running Leap in places where I thought it would work!
But this is all I found. It's so frustrating.
Just like last time, no bad language. If you see a question that you know the answer to, please answer it.
