Instructions
This game has simple controls, and after reading this brief instructions section, you'll be all ready to download it and play it. In the game, you use the arrow keys to move your character. To interact with an object or another character, press the c button, and to call up the menu, press the x button. Once on the menu, or when selecting something in the game, x serves as the "go back" button, if you would like to stop looking at the menu, or if you would like to stop viewing the selected section. One important function on the menu is the save option. This option allows you to save your progress on any of the four accounts. You should save frequently, in case of a computer problem or an unexpected defeat in the game.
Another important topic is battle. In the game, you will frequently have to battle, whether it's just a practice battle with a clanmate, or a full scale fight with enemy cats or other animals. In some battles, you'll be able to flee from the enemy by selecting "escape," however, in other battles, escaping your foe will not be an option. In this case, you will have to fight. Once you select fight, you'll be able to choose one of four actions. The first is basic attack, and it will do more damage to your opponent depending on what claws your cat is equipped with. The next option is skills, and selecting this will bring up the different skills that your cat knows. It will know more skills if it is at a higher level, due to the fact that it gains new skills as it levels up (below, you can see a picture of the cat leveling up). These skills can do a variety of different things, ranging from healing an ally to damaging an enemy. The next battle option is items, and it will let you select an item from your storage to use in battle. In most cases, the item will be used to heal your cats. The final option is defend, and it will cause your cat to stop and brace itself for one turn, causing the amount of damage it takes during that time to be significantly less.
Now that you've read these basic instructions, you can download the game and get started, but it is recommended that you read the more advanced instructions before doing anything else.
Note:If you browse through the game pictures on this website, you will notice that the battle graphics for the cats leave much to be desired. Suggestions for improving them are welcome, as are suggestions about music that should be played in the game, and suggestions and or questions about anything else.
